A long time ago in a place far far away (ok I know that somebody else used
that already). A warrior was born to a Mech clan called the Fist of Death (FD
in BZ). He strove to be the best mech pilot the clan had ever seen and caught
the attention of the Kahn on more than 1 occasion in melee battles as an honorable
warrior. One who would place himself in danger in order for another warrior
to make a kill (after all kills are what its all about well that and having
fun). In several instances he would run right into an enemy and commit suicide
to do damage the enemy Mech (ooooops I really didn't mean to do that but what
the heck it worked). FD was having internal problems the upper commanders started
to bicker and fight amongst them self's and the fight no longer held any joy
for our hero so he took to wondering the vast universe on his own, and to make
ends meet he did what no honorable clan member would do he hired himself out
as a Merc. killing for profit (what the heck pad the bills and put food in his
belly). It was by during this he found a new home with a family that placed
much more stock in having fun than on the kills that were scored (don't cringe
now) this is with a group of fighter pilots called RBL (I knew you would cringe).
The only problem is that while having all this fun it was in a flying ship rather
than his mech and he so missed the thrill of towering over his enemy's after
they have been defeated! But alas RBL has no mech division and he had to search
out a way to make himself happy. Then 1 day by sheer chance he was reading a
communication from one of his brothers in his clan and followed the story line
to the sight of one of RBL's larger rivals (OBS) and what was there? But low
and behold a mech division could it be possible could this be the home that
he so longed for? But how could a Flight leader of RBL, COBRA squad, possibly
fight for the enemy? Murdock pondered this as he watched and listened to the
ethics of the commanders of OBS and asked questions of them that the answers
would determine the fate of our hero's life. His questions were answered to
Murdock delite his hopes and prayers were answered, Yes there is a clan with
a mech division that he can fight for, live for, and (I hope not often) Die
for.
Murdock had one last reservation before he committed himself. Would he be required
to leave his beloved place at RBL, this finally question was placed before the
perspective commanders. The answer was...... NO he would not have to leave.
Murdock couldn't believe his good fortune! But now he still had to pass the
ToP in order to call OBS the new home of his Mech. the battle was fierce (actually
it wasn't I had a C1 against a C5). But he lost the commander told him to go
rebuild his mech and come back with one that suited the battle, Murdock was
downtrodden he didn't think he would be able to beat this master of the Mettle
mayhem, but he did as instructed.
Returning to the battle field with his newly configured mech Murdock proceeded
with fear in his heart, for how could he win a place in OBS this time the battle
was very fierce back and fourth the 2 Warrior's fought their UAC20's blazing
hot lead at each other Murdock was first to fall having never fought this type
of battle, but what! The OBS commander was damaged greatly! could it be that
our hero has a chance? Back and fourth our hero's fight and in the end Murdock
was victorious with a score of 5 to 6 he had achieved his goal of a new home
for his mech. OBS_Murdock only hopes that he will never again have to wonder
the universe in search of a home for his Scat.
