Set this up over my lunch break... took all of 10 minutes.

So lets see how well it works for us. If it doesnt work out we can try something else.

server: teamspeak.rblsquad.com
server password: letmein

Basic instructions:

Download and install the TS2 client from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads&archive=1
You have to use TS2 client as our server is a TS2. A TS3 client will not work.

Start it up, click connect, then right click on servers as indicated in screeny.

Label it whatever you want, I chose rbl, then hit enter.
Next screen is server settings, enter them as indicated in screeny, replace your name of course, and use server password.
3rd screeny shows what it will appear like after logging in.

You will be placed in RBL Main channel as default. I've registered some common channels for the games we play, switch to those channels to talk in them while playing that game Smiley

A suggestion from some veteran voice users: Under Settings -> Sound Input/Output select the push to talk method and assign a hotkey to comm your mic. Use this method if your in a noisy area so as not to drown out other folks in the channel... or if you think you might fall asleep and are a heavy snorer :p

I'm curious...

How much of a performance hit (bandwidth/framerate) does your system take to run teamspeak and SWG simultaneously?

I'm concerned my PC isn't up to the challenge...

I usually log on to ts when playin....hehe not sure y just like seein my name there i guess but i have not noticed ne induced lag even while using it in game.
There are several options to set even completely turning off mic/sound, push to talk...
When I was still active in Crimson Skies there was a one who used TS from an Alaskan dial-up con..with little to no additional lag issues.
If its only ur pc I think the requirements are negligable....more ur connection/ISP

Tank u evr get ur mic workin...? Found some things what mite help u n da pup.
Under settings, options, sound devices tab...try choosing other than direct input or wave...or diff input device...?

I do remember the problem snoop had with his on board sound and ventrilo was overcome by not allowing full duplex on input device....?

Hey look!!! Its Hondo. I use TS all the time for playing Call of Duty. If you suffer from lag you can turn the bandwidth usage down in the settings. I know a couple of guys who had to do this recently.

Because the semester has begun, so I'm gone all the time once again, either at work or at class.  Plus I just reformatted, so I haven't reinstalled TS yet.
