Some may know the house I have been in for 11 years now is soon to be a new development. After looking for quite some time now, we have found an old farm house on 20 acres.
The place has never had US Postal delivery but has been converted to city water and DSL is available 

Hope ta be in n homey by the first of Aug

Heh, with 20 acres, all Azis needs to do ANYWAY is set up a couple windmills and generate all the power he wants.  Course, if it gets calm, he'll need that bicycle hooked up as a backup generator.

Just be careful WHAT ya go shooting at on the property though.  That 'Texas Tea' that comes bubbling up is more likely to be from an underground pipeline if you're close enough to a city for city water....lol.

Well so far the city water is just a bill, aint got one drop to the house DOH!!! The meter is 1/4 mile from the house accross a hay field and when the water is turned on at the meter it er eh it uhmmm, the needle on the meter makes a nice fan 

Windmills were originally to pump water btw, which the place does have two wells but so far have only found one of em. That sparky stuff what makes folks say bad things, including those flyin kites heheheh, well it came on just fine so guess the DSL should come up.

We honestly took a lil trip and never left the farm  took about 20 minutes puttin in first gear to drive the property line.

The crossroad is the NW corner so zoom out or pan south then east to center on my 20. Property runs east along Landerholm 1/2 a mile then hits a tree line goes south 3/8 mile then hits lockwood creek and another tree line and back west to 40th. The drive is in the middle of the property and shows ending at the barn which is huge and easy to spot, the house a lil harder to pic out.

Will have plenty of room to fly my RC cubby and let the kid take off in the car heheheh weeeeeee

Sounds great. With so much space you could have some real flying there. Why not build a runway?

Az wouldn't have to.  He could just leave on field well 'trimmed' and maybe do a little grading to smooth it out, and boom.  Runway on the cheap!  There's a few folks around here who have runways like that.  Pretty snazzy really.

Looks pretty good man.  Though there should be a talk with the spinning fan of your city water meter about getting the water the rest of the way to you lol. 

So you've got 20 acres to play with.  You going to turn a portion of it into a rock obstacle for your offroading?

Not sure if i picture Az in his own version of 'Smallville' OR 'Aracniphobia'(or however it's spelt )    Bet he's seen more than a few decent webs around there by now...lol.

Love the goggle earth option Holmes.  A bit more resolution to it, and we could watch him move in...lol.

And yeah, I'm hoping it all works out well for ya.  BTW, next time there's talk of a RBL RL meeting,  I bet I know where we could set up a camping area for a few days, heh.

A landing strip could be fashioned in somehow but not really very practical. Trade winds in this area are pretty much east/west, not too many north/south runways. The power line comes in about 100' west of the drive splitting the 1/2 mile width of the pasture. Also those treelines along the property line are Douglas firs most of which are over 100'. There are two private strips tho within a few mile. One is Daybreak just about 2 miles southwest of me. My pasture is about the biggest around so is no doubt a planned spot for E-landing from that strip. My RC cub has just over a 7' wingspan however and should look perty impresive taking off and buzzin round and landing on the drive

I sold my landcruiser so only have my lil TOYota Truck now which is my work rig, so nothin too radical. I do have my dirt bike however to go tearin round on 

Owner is comin by today to show me where the other wellhead is that has eluded me thus far. There is an outfit that will come out and locate the leak also, they garuntee to locate it within a 3' radius (whew) so its gonna get got

Heh, wasn't sure of that 1 pic.  Is that the outhouse??    I see you've got a high-tech swingset for the kids anyway.  No question on the elbow room though.  Can't wait to see how big an outdoor fishpond you'll build at THIS location.
