06.09.2011 18:44 | 427 | Holmes
Greetings,

The 100 day drop rule was mainly in place to cut down on false game reporting and to keep the user select dropdowns for event match submission cleaner/up to date....

Holy Hell...Yea that's lucky indeed.  Though to be honest...he was WAAAAY to close for that particular weapon.  It has a very long effective range.  Should have been much farther back.

Course maybe the backstop had enough of getting shot at and sent it back.  "I dun want it!"

Appears to be a Barret .50 caliber rifle.  Notice you hear the round zipping through the air before it hits the ground, and then up into his muffs?  That round has a lot of energy to expend...it's also known to be good out to a mile.  Hence why he was waaay too close for it lol.

Probably some steel plate.  Problem is, at the range he was shooting at, the round probably went through the plate, hit the backstop and bounced back, hitting the ground in front of him before coming up into his muffs.  That's why you heard the round whistle before it hit.  It didn't have a clean spin any longer.
