BSC 100 day roster rule changed
06.09.2011 18:44 | 427 | Holmes
Greetings,

The 100 day drop rule was mainly in place to cut down on false game reporting and to keep the user select dropdowns for event match submission cleaner/up to date....

For those of you who haven't kept up, Star Wars: The Old Republic is going to be the next Star Wars MMO, and its going to blow Galaxies out of the water.

Please view this video, and then change your pants like i did.

unfortunately, but you know what.... They can either go so right, or so wrong, and from the CURRENT looks of it, they're doing much much better than SWG, and are heading in the right direction.

well, when Galaxies came out, my rig was a bit on the old side to run it, and i was unemployed ( considering i was still in high school ). Nowadays though, I keep my rig pretty updated and I can afford monthly subscriptions. The game looks promising, and with WoW running into it's last legs here, MMORPG gamers are going to be looking for a new game to play.  This might be the revival we've been looking for. It has my interest.

Don't be too sure WoW is near death. The new voobly system seems to be quite popular and much easier to use than the current EV DJO has been making use of for BSC events. This weeks WoW has prob been one of the most active WoW's in some time, and most of those matches took place on the weekend, before Specter stepped in and quashed players form using Voobly to fly their matches from(hey, even Azis got 10 matches in for the event!!!  Shocked). Indications are that starting next month, voobly WILL be officially acceptable for WoW(although NOT yet certain) and expectations are that quite a few more pilots will come out of retirement to check it out...heck we had 4 RBL in voobly Sat night! Been quite a while since we had enough squad members to have flown our own 2v2.  Lips Sealed  not worthy  Personally, I'm looking forward to the Nov. WoW.  bring it on bring it on bring it on

Wasn't using the acronym of WoW for Week of War, guys. I was referring to World of Warcraft. Blizzard knows that Warcraft is on it's last legs. They've got maybe 1 more expansion for it and it will have run it's course. I have a feeling TOR is going to launch withnearly perfect timing to suck up a TON of WoW players. This will be a golden opportunity for us.

Goku, World of Warcraft will be around for a while. EverQuest still has a loyal fan-base and its over 10 years old now, and they're on expansion 16.

World of Warcraft has a following much larger than EverQuest. I expect it'll be around for at least a few more years.
