SO, two years ago in 2009 they annouced for PC and 360 Mechwarrior 3015.


Which then died due to not being able to get enough publisher backing for it. So what did Piranha Games decide would be the next best thing to do?

They decided the best thing to do would make it a PC exclusive Free to play MMO.


That's right folks, we're getting a brand new Mechwarrior Game for free! Mechwarrior Online!

I can't wait for its launch next summer in 2012.

Nice find FO Smiley  I am also excited to see this.  Was bummed when I heard Mechwarrior 3015 had been dropped.  It's been a long time since we have had a quality mech game on the market.  I'm not usually for an MMO, but hey it's free and the battletech universe always has something going on.  Just hope they can keep it running.........as I'm curious as to how they are going to fund this project........Will def be looking out for this!  Will plan on using RBL_Acehigh for my pilot name.
