I was wondering, would it be possible to use anything bigger than the 100x100 pixel  profile pics? Perhaps even using GIFs? I think that would be totally awsome.

you can use any format you want in the use your own pic thing.. but I wont be increasing the 100x100 size limit for asthetic purposes... not everyone has large resolution monitors.
