Now that I've had time to see what the new starfighters from the imptac upgrade can do in battle, here's my thoughts. Personally I think the Tie Oppressor should be added to wow. It has a very high pt value, a 29 kill match yeilded 65520 pts. And the guy I flew had 25 kills for 51120. So I think this ship could be a new staple for wow's to come. Just remember it has four lasers and two ion cannons. And it's about as fast as a squint. The ewing is another good fighter, but it's shields are so tough that after a 10 minute match only 12 kills could be mustered. Pts for this ship seem good too as those 12 kills yeilded over 25k, but the shields are so strong it takes alot to kill them. Although I haven't flown them in xvt, the Twing and R-41 will probably react like they do in xwa. So I think they are quality ships. The Tie Defender, and Star Viper have major lag issues though. The missle boat may not be a wise choice either since it only has one laser. A game for interim was played and the final kill count was 4-2. So in conclusion if you have the imptac ships let's try to get the Tie Oppressor as a permanent fixture for wow! If you need the link to dl the ship set email me.
