Seriously though...I'd have to say that so far I'm not all that impressed as of yet.  

I've installed it, dealt with some buggy Station.com account issues (hard to explain, you had to be there), although I think that was due to the fact that my conn is rather slow.  Now I'm updating...which drives me insane.  

It's a new frickin product as of Thursday...and I needed a bloody update already!?!?!?  On top of that, the servers are going to be down at 6 AM PDT (which I guess is Pacific time)...meaning I probably won't get around to trying it out because I'm still downloading the updates (which if you don't have you don't get the option to play at all)...

I tell ya...if you have a slow connection, it's probably a good guess to say that you don't want this game.  Now I could be wrong since I have yet to actually play it, but so far it ain't lookin promising.  We'll see here....in about 35 minutes.  Hopefully.

Now that I've gone and knocked it ten ways to Sunday on Sunday (how ironic...) I do think that some of the features they put in the game are really kinda neat.  After browsing the 192 page "Adventure Manual" I've read up on some pretty cool things.  If you want you can put your own bio in it, set your character so that if someone sees it it'll tell'em that you like to roleplay, have more than one type of skill and acquire new skills, declare yourself an Imperial or Rebel....rather impressive.  Explains why it's 2 gigs....**can hear the screams from here**

Just so ya'll know, whatever character I have will be named either ArmyTanker, Tanker, Tank, RBLTank, AbramsTanker, or whatever else along those lines that isn't taken.  Pity that numbers aren't allowed.  Then I'd still run around as M1A2Tanker.   I'll let you know which one I have when it's all said and done.

Then we'll have to get on the same servers sometime.

Ok.  I'm RBL Tanker, and I was on the Intrepid server(galaxy).  

It wasn't too bad really, until I got into some congested areas where there were a lot of NPCs and player characters.  It probably helped that I went to Tatooine as the first planet to go to (Mos Eisley to be exact).  

It's not bad overall.  I wouldn't recommend that you play the game on a dialup unless the server you're going to is very light in terms of population and is performing well.  Otherwise, your game with suffer.  

I'll say this much...a gang of Worrts (frog things) can beat the snot out of ya good!  Little chits...

Actually... Thats a bug Tank. Cons are all messed up. Thoes should con really easy ( green ) to starting players.

Yeah, as those of you who know me, I'm an engineer in Sprint's web hosting unit. Sprint decided to nix their web hosting portfolio earlier this month, so we are just waiting for the axe to fall here. Not many jobs in KC right now either.
