and he has many however one in particular is preventing him from posting on the comlink. Caught him on the zone and he says he can read and view but when he goes to post it disconnects him? Not sure zactly what he meant by that but is how he put it. Sounded to me more like maybe browser issues or settings but dunno.
Anywho I think he may be emailing holmes also, least I mentioned it as an option.
If any ideas let him know if ya could.

I have no idea on that one. I dont see any errors standing out in the logs here. It's possible that it could be a browser thing... when you say he gets disconnected, does he mean from the board or from the internet in general? He might try clearing his browser history and cache.. other than that not sure

That was my ? also holmes is what he meant by disconnected?!?!?
Unfortunately we didnt zactly finish chatin that eve. Does sound like on his end tho....

I know his comp and/or his connection has been giving him troubles, especially when attempting to fly.  Maybe Santa will give him the hookup this year?

Update from pup,
After typing a post when he tries to post it he gets message "An error has occured! The name field was not filled out. It is required." then shows him as a guest?

Try clearing browser cache (deleting temp internet files), deleting history, and removing cookies associated with rbl site then restart web browser.

Then log in to the forum, then try posting.

Could also try manually logging out and in of the forum a couple times... it sounds like a cookie or cache problem.

Okays....I found a 'secret' weapon to overcome the problem I was having , now all I have to do is figure out where I left my doghouse so I can fly again.
