Possible New Recruit

I say possible because the fellow I was chatting with is having some comp issues that aren't allowing him to fly right now.  Heres the problem.  When he tries to fly he gets an error that says "failed to create direct 3d device" or something to that effect.  he's wondering if anyone can help solve this issue?  

Here's the info for this dude.  He wants to join our merry band once he can fly.

He's having that problem with XvT or XWA? Either way, ti sounds alot like what's happened to me.

Video cards that were working with our games are quickly becoming incompatable. For example, 3 months ago, my Trident Video Accelerator Blade 3D worked just fine with JKII, but now, because of a new set of drivers and XP updates, that vid card no longer work with JKII or JKIII. So now i have to buy a new vid card.

This is most likely the problem he's having, Ace. Feel free to pass on my advice.

I think that's what he's gonna do.  Just go out and purchase a new card.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed on my end, I'm still running a 3dfx Voodoo Banshee lol.
