I think the title here says it all.  Lucas Arts is developing yet another #^%$#@ FPS in Republic Commando.  In my opinion this game seems like the Jedi Knight series seen through the eyes of a clone.  Your the team leader of a group of "clone commandos" as you go deep behind enemy lines to engage the Confederacy forces on the ground.  While the game looks like it may be fun, and have some value, when will this insanity end???  I think the only FPS widely accepted by the Star Wars community is the Jedi Knight series.  Hopefully we can be spared from the FPS and strategy symdrome soon.  Another space combat sim wouldn't be bad, as LA seems to have forgotten what got them to the dance.
